Currently the world uses a variety of digital systems to publish a wide
range of books so that many people are able to share them among friends and
each other. The current ones are great and examples of these include e-books,
online magazines, electronic journals, online newspaper, PDF and CD-ROM’s. These
re the current systems that we use to share digitally to spread knowledge on various literature The new digital media available that people will continue using
are blog spots file sharing. Mobile apps, pod casts, collaborative software and
the digital publication apps which are the newer medias. Apple and Adobe
systems are some of the technology vendors that allow for digital publication
to be utilized. As this world develops, introduction to newer digital
publishing methods may be available. In the future, I predict the existence of
digital e-books to aid the disabled in various ways. Much of the disabled individuals
will be introduced to digital media through encompassing multimedia in the
books. For example, videos, graphics, 3D model printing may be available and
may be incorporated without interfering with the mainstream reading experience.
Readers will also be able manipulate content in the books. Animations and
interactions may also be available inside the digital books in the nearer
future.
